A little bit about me

The Journey of Quirkyting

Hello! I'm Ting, a local independent artist from the little red dot. Friends say that I have a rather quirky personality, hence the pen name - Quirkyting.

The main mediums that I work with are acrylic paint and pastel. Sometimes, I fiddle with my iPad and create illustrations via Procreate too. I received my first commission in 2020 (Evening at a Lalang Field) and that was when I learned that art can uplift a person spiritually and emotionally. Whether it's a gift for someone or a statement piece to spruce up your home, my goal as an artist is to brighten your everyday life with art.

At the start of 2023, I completed a Diploma in Basic of Pastel Nagomi Art & Associated Instructive Art Course by Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA). Since then, I have taught and spread the joy of Pastel Nagomi Art.

Time flies and it's 2024 already. I can't wait to show you more art and incorporate them into lifestyle products where you can find some peace, comfort and joy in using them.
